Free Ways to Show Support
I know what it’s like to be on a tight budget but still want to support people. Here are some ways to help an indie author without spending a single penny:
1. Find me on social media: Instagram & Goodreads. Like, follow, comment, and share my posts. This helps with exposure so I can broaden my reach to new people!
2. Did you read a post on my blog that you enjoyed? Share the link on social media or email it to a friend who would appreciate it.
3. Subscribe to my monthly newsletter. This lets you stay up to date with everything I’m currently working on, and you can give me a dose of encouragement via comments and replies! You can also share my newsletter page with friends who’d like to join.
4. If you’ve read my books, please write a review on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and/or Goodreads. Reviews help authors so much more than most people realize!
5. Know someone looking for a new book recommendation? Let them know about my books. One of the biggest challenges for an indie author is getting the book out to readers, and word-of-mouth marketing can go a long way!

Paid Ways to Show Support
As an author, monthly paychecks are never a consistent amount. That’s what makes monthly subscriptions one of the best ways you can support me and other indie authors. Below are monthly subscription platforms you can choose to support me on (and the perks I offer with them!):
7. Ko-fi
This donation platform allows my followers and visitors to treat me to a “virtual drink,” in other words a one-time donation of your $ choosing or a monthly support. It’s a quick, easy way to show support and help keep this website running.
Most donation platforms charge fees, taking money out of what you donate to the creative you want to support. Kofi is much better: they don’t take any fees on one-time donations (so this is best for that one-time or once in a while gift!), and for monthly donations they take a smaller 5% fee, which is better than Patreon and Substack. Basically, whether you choose one-time or monthly, almost all of the money will go to me (the creative) and not Kofi.

Substack is a public interface that displays a complete archive of my posts and newsletters. It also includes an About page as well as external links to my website, social media, shops, etc.
